Health New Zealand Privacy Statement requirement
From 1st Feb 2025, all pharmacy staff who have access to Dispensary are required to read and acknowledge a privacy statement set by Health New Zealand. This document has been implemented into RxOne.

Starting from 1st Feb 2025, the first time a staff member logs into RxOne Dispensary or accesses a patient record, the Privacy Statement SOP will open on the RxOne Home Screen for attention. The staff member needs to click on the ‘SOP Read’ button to acknowledge they have read the statement to carry on. If they just click ‘Exit’ or click away from the RxOne Home Screen, they will not be able to access the patient record.

Key Points
This Privacy Statement will be reviewed every 180 days as per the Health New Zealand guideline.
The Privacy Statement does not affect other staff members who do not have access to RxOne Dispensary.
The staff name, date and time they acknowledge the Privacy Statement will be recorded for auditing purpose.
