RxOne Update on 12 Month Prescriptions February 2026

This update brings enhancements to prescription expiry handling and fixes key workflow issues in Dispensary.

Enhancements:

·         Improved Repeat Expiry flexibility: The Repeat Expiry field is now editable, allowing users to adjust the expiry as needed while still benefiting from automatic default values.

·         Optimized Class C1 drug expiry defaults: Class C1 prescriptions now default to 90 days, improving accuracy and workflow efficiency.

·         Refined Extended Period prompting: The Extended Period prompt behaviour has been improved so it no longer incorrectly depends on the patient category.

Bug Fixes:

·         Close Control prompt fixed: Now correctly appears when the Patient category is NSS and the script is funded.

·         Dispense process stability: Resolved an issue where Dispensary could hang when scanning an eScript that had already been dispensed and selecting “No” to the message about dispensing again.
