You can add a PharmX supplier account directly from RxOne, without the need to contact our help desk.
Follow these Steps
Open ‘RxOne Editor’ > Scroll down and click into ‘Supplier’. (We might switch the menu to open WPF version directly)
If you are setting up PharmX account with EXISTING supplier, click into the selected supplier.
If you are setting up PharmX account with a NEW supplier, click ‘New’, a new row will be created on the bottom of the screen, double click into it to open the screen.
Ensure the Supplier detail are on the first tab is correct this includes
Supplier Name
Supplier Contact details
On the ‘Internet Ordering’ tab
Select ‘Use PharmX for Orders and Invoices’.
Leave the ‘Pharmx Supplier ID’ as ‘None’ as this will only be available once the supplier has approved the account.
‘Send Orders Using Protocols’ – Select between API.exe, Sigma.exe or Mayne.exe from the drop down if the supplier you are creating is one of these suppliers, otherwise leave it blank.
Select Uses ‘Sigma Code’, ‘Symbion Code’, ‘API Codes’ if appropriate, otherwise leave it as ‘Suppliers Own Codes’.
‘PharmX User Name’ and ‘PharmX Password’ will be automatically populated for you. This is your account with PharmX , this is not supplier related.
Enter your account number in ‘Main Account Number’.
Select ‘Create PharmX Acc’ button.
On the next screen select ‘New Account Number’ and enter the account number again for your supplier you are creating.
Select your supplier from the ‘PharmX Supplier ID’ list and click ‘Ok’ to save.
At this stage your supplier will receive a notification from you requesting the account to be approved. A notice on the home screen will display under ‘Alert’ tab.
To see a list of accounts pending please go to ‘Orders’ > ‘Edit’> ‘View PharmX outstanding changes’
A list of accounts created and its status will be displayed on the screen.
‘Waiting For Supplier’ means the account is in pending status, waiting for supplier to approve.
‘Waiting for Pharmacy’ means the account is either approved or rejected. Description column will display the details.
Once the account has been acknowledged by the supplier, the home screen notification will change and you can come back to the screen to either accept the changes (if account is approved) or undo the changes (if account is rejected)
You will be able to transmit orders to the supplier once this step is completed.
