The new RxOne Exception Report functions similar to the previous one but with some extra benefits!

Go to Exception Report through SmartClaim > Exception Report

Start by choosing Exception Report through SmartClaim as per usual and enter in the required criteria as you would have done previously.

Once the report loads, you will notice different tabs.

Items To Be Fixed - This tab check scripts for errors that may cause the claim to fail.

Check the “Error Details” tab and amend the script accordingly

Manual Claim ItemsItems older than 4 months that have been added to the claim.

Ensure the scripts have gained approval to be claimed by MOH.

Claim Regardless – Scripts that have been ticked as “Claim Regardless”.

Ensure the scripts here have a valid reason to be claimed.

NSS Items – Scripts that have a category of NSS and won’t be included in the claim.

OPTIONAL - You may choose to check if scripts here have been incorrectly flagged as NSS.

Held/Phoned Items – Scripts that are on hold or marked as phoned and won’t be included in the claim.

OPTIONAL - You may choose to check if you have received any of the phone scripts.

Missing NHI and NHI to Validate – Patients within the claim period that either need an NHI entered or need their NHI validated.

Highlight the required patient, press “Validate NHI”. If there is no NHI number, an NHI search will be performed. If there is already an NHI, an NHI validation will be performed

It is only mandatory to correct the details in this tab if the % of script with no NHI exceeds 10% in the stats at the top.

Missing Prescriber Numbers – Prescribers during the claim period that need a registration number entered.

Select a prescriber, press “Edit” and enter a prescriber number then Save.

It is only mandatory to correct the details in this tab if the % of script with no NZMC exceeds 10% in the stats at the top.
