Do all ePES scripts automatically appear in ASL, or does the prescriber have to ‘send’ a script to ASL?

The prescriber has to mark the script as don’t send to ASL, default is send but can set to not send. In our system can be done at patient level

Can the pharmacy (eg Prospect Compounding) change the communication method from email/mobile/paper to ASL and send a script to the customers ASL?

Yes.

In the Script screen there is a Dont send to ASL tick box in the Options tab. Untick Don’t send to ASL. options are

  • ASL only,

  • in pharmacy ,

  • email,

  • mobile ,

  • paper,

  • Email and ASL,Mobile and ASL ,

  • paper and ASL

  • No labels
