RxOne Updates January 2025

Dispensary

To Add a family member by NHI: when adding a family member to a patient, you can now add using either Name or NHI

To Add a new family member who was linked to another family: when adding a new family to a patient, if that person was already linked to another family, you now have two options:

  • link the 2 families (bring all members across)

  • or only add that particular person (this will remove the person from the existing family and add them to the family with the patient you are working on)

Event Audit tab: this has been changed to only display event audits created by users as the default. All system automatic events (for example: Cards updated from NHI service, Enrolment Updated from NHI service) will be hidden. You can view these events by selecting View – Show Full Audit.

When bringing up a different patient, the Event Audit tab display will be reverted back to the default setting – ie. only show user-created events.

Assign a script basket to a specific staff member/staff group: you can now assign a script basket to a specific staff member or staff group. These script baskets will only be visible in the RxOne Script Waiting tab when that specific staff member/ staff group logs into Dispensary.

Any other script baskets that have not been assigned to any staff member/staff group will still be visible for all staff members.

You can assign a script basket to a staff member/staff group via the RxOne Script Waiting tab or from the Receive Script screen.

From the RxOne Script Waiting tab: highlight the script basket you want to assign to a staff member, click ‘Set Status And Depot’ button on theright hand side, select the staff member or staff group you want to assign the script to.

Point of Sales

You can now allow discounts via POS for both shop and script items for a customer who does not have an account. In the past, a customer only had discounts enabled on their purchases if they had an account set up.

When the customer also has an account set up:

  • If there are discounts set for the customer but not for the account, the discount values set on the Customer Details screen will be applied.

  • If there are discounts set for both the customer and the customer account (either the same or different values), the discount values set on the Account Details screen will be applied.

Stockcards

RxOne now allows you to set default Sticker/Shelf label printing rules when creating new stockcards. From RxOne Options. under the ‘POS Settings’ tab you can set the default printing rules for new stockcards.

When creating new stockcards via Stockcards or the Orders module, this rule will be applied. For example, if the rule was set to ‘Print Stickers Only’, new stockcards will have ‘Print Price Stickers’ ticked automatically.

When creating new stockcards via Supplier Update, you can leave the Sticker/Shelf Label rule for new cards as ‘Default’ – new stockcards created from here will use the printing rule set in the RxOne Options screen.

OR you can set a different printing rule for new stockcards created via Supplier Update for a specific supplier. The rule set in the Supplier Update screen will be applied to new stockcards created from here.
