Changes Requiring Doctor Sign Off

These help notes apply to scripts that have been changed and require sign off from the prescriber.

You will still need to receive a signed prescription from the prescriber accepting the changes as per current prescribing rules.

Process the Script

Scan the script and process it. Make any required changes.
Ensure that the doctor and FacilityID is correct
Click on the 8 eScript tab
Tick Changes requiring Dr. sign.
If it is a phoned script, tick Phoned
Finish the script

Audit and Follow Up

The eScript will be sent to the NZePES servers and a notification sent to the doctor that there are changes that need to be approved. If the doctor approves the script RxOne will automatically untick Changes require Dr. sign.

If the prescriber does not accept the changes an entry will be added to Tasks tab in the main dispensary screen and an entry will be added to the Audit tab on the script screen.
