Patient Family Members

A family can consist of any number of patients, with any number of names, from any number of addresses.
Adding Family Members
To Add family members:
From the Patient screen select Edit
Cursor down to Family Members
Press the right cursor arrow to bring up the choices of Add member or Delete member, choose Add, and select the patient to be added.
Linking two patients who were not in a family before creates a new family.
Linking two patients, one who is already in a family and one who is not, attaches the separate person to the family no matter which direction it is done.
Linking two people who are already in separate families merges those two families.
Deleting Family Members
To Remove family members:
From the Patient screen, select Personal information to bring up the list of family members.
From the Family members box highlight the member to be removed, either by tabbing and using up/down cursor keys, or by left-mouse clicking.
Select Edit
Cursor down to Family Members
Press the right cursor arrow to bring up the choices of Add member or Remove member and choose remove.
