Missed Rollover / Monthly Forecasting

RxOne performs a monthly rollover at the end of each month. This rollover assigns sales of stock units to a given month and allows RxOne to forecast stock usage.

It is important that your Master is left on overnight to perform these tasks. Problems with rollover can occur in the following circumstances

  • The computer’s system date is adjusted (we do not recommend doing this)

  • Monthly forecasting is interrupted

  • the database is restored from a backup taken at the end of the month

Force a Monthly Rollover of stock and history

  • Check that the rollover has been missed by looking at the Month to Date usage on a common stock item

  • If the rollover hasn't happened, then:

    • click on the Windows icon in the taskbar

    • type Run and press enter

    • Type c:\lots\forecast /force
