Repeats Due Report and Messaging

The Repeats Due report was updated in 2022 and gives you more options for filtering Repeats Due. It also gives you the option to export the report and text patients to remind them that they have Repeats available. Added functionality means that if a patient replies ‘Y' or 'Yes’ the repeats will go into the basket, or dispensing queue on your Dispensary screen.

Main Menu > Reports > Script Reports > Repeat Reports > Repeats Due (or type Repeats Due in the search box)

People

You can select to include all patients or search for specific patients.

Doctors

Select All Doctors, or search for doctors that you wish to have included

Script Type

Choose All Scripts, Foils or Non-Foils.

Other Filters

There is a huge range of filters which will help you filter down to what you need in the report.

Repeat Due Section

Select the Repeats Due date to only show Repeats due in that timeframe. You can also select Scanned Scripts Only which will only show repeats where the previous dispensing has been scanned out. If you tick Excl before today, then no repeats prior to today's date will be displayed.

Once you have selected your filters, click OK to run the report. A list of the dispensing with Repeats that are due will be displayed. At this point you can remove patients from the report by clicking Remove Selected if you wish.

Export and Text Messaging

Export will take you to the Export options for the report.

Text Message

Note: There is a charge for sending Text Messages. The maximum length is 160 characters

Select Send Text Messages

From the Text Message Template dropdown, select the message you wish to send, you can select to create a new template by selecting Create New.

You can choose to have 'Y' responses automatically add the repeat items to the basket.

If you want to send reminders that automatically creates a basket when a person replies 'Y'

Tick the following options:

 

  • Send only one message per person

  • Create repeat basket on 'Y'

Select the appropriate Text Message Template, and example could be:

“Your repeat(s) are due soon. Reply 'Y' to confirm we should dispense these.

The options for Send only one message and create repeat basket on ‘Y' are loaded against the message template. If your message template doesn’t have these options they will be deselected. Tick them again. To make them default with the template:

  • Select the template

  • Tick the Options

  • Click Overwrite Existing

When you are ready, you can Preview and Send All messages, or click Send Selected without Preview.
