Account Category (Debtor Category)
Debtors (account customers) can be allocated to a category to allow such things as different account fees and/or overdue to be applied to different sets of accounts. Or you might like to create an 'Inactive Accounts' category.
To set up Debtor Categories
From the RxOne Start Menu, go to Debtors, Tools, and Options. Right mouse click on 'Account Category' to bring up drop box (or go to Edit and 'Add Category'), select add Category, then type in name of category e.g. 'Class A Accounts'. Then apply the account fee and overdue fee for category.
To assign a category to a particular debtor
The normal default is General and will use your default account settings.
To assign a category to an individual account: call up the account either in the Patient's Personal Info 'Account Details', 'Settings' or in Debtors highlight the one to be change then 'Edit', 'Account Detail's', 'Settings' or press <F2>, 'Settings'.
To assign categories from PoS. Go to 'Sales', 'New Sale'. Â Enter the customers account name, then 'Edit', 'Add/Modify Account Details', 'Settings' and change 'Account Category', click 'OK' to save changes.
To assign categories in bulk
Use the Debtors Utility: Highlight account names, Select 'Change Account Category' to bring up the box with the different categories and then select the category. Click 'Change Account Category' to make the change.
