Debtor Categories

Debtors (account customers) can be allocated to a category to allow different account fee or/and overdue charges to be applied to different sets of accounts.

To set up Debtor Categories

Menu > Debtors > Tools > Options

  • Right mouse click on Account Category

  • Select Add Category.

  • Type in name of category.

  • Apply the account fee and overdue fee for category.

To assign a category to a particular debtor

Debtors are assigned General as the default category, and will use the default account settings.

To assign a category to an individual account:

  • call up account either in Patient's Personal Info Account Details and Settings or,

  • in Debtors highlight the one to be change then Edit, Account Detail's, Settings or press <F2>, Settings.

To assign category in bulk

Main Menu > Debtors > Debtors Utility

Highlight the account names you are changing,

  • Select Change Account Category to bring up box with the different categories and,

  • select the category.

  • Click Change Account Category to make the change
