Duplicate Numbers in a Claim

Duplicate numbers can occur after merging the records of two pharmacies.

To reclaim duplicate number scripts

Re-dispense the rejected items as new scripts so they get a new number, then edit to change the date to the correct date of dispensing. The date cannot be edited at time of dispensing as an 'original', it has to be changed as Edit.

Other items on the same form, that are not themselves faulty could also be re-dispensed, but it is faster to just leave them with their old number, pull them up on the Edit screen, and select 'Reclaim' on the 'Claims' panel ('5' alt + 5).
