Autocharge Scripts from Fred

On the Other settings tab ensure the full path to Fred is correct and tick the "Enable Autocharging to RxOne Accounts" option.   Go to Debtors and bring up the account you'd like to have autocharged. Take note of the Account Number (displayed on the lookup screen and on the main debtors list).

In WiniFRED bring up the patient and go to the Patient Extra information screen and enter the RxOne account number details and direct charging ‘Y’.

Dispense a script as usual in WiniFRED.  If the sales screen is RxOne then the script will shortly appear as autocharged to account.

To view the scripts that have been autocharged from within RxOne, from the main Point-of-Sale screen, go to "Reports - View Autocharged Scripts" and enter the date range required.

Note: If editing the script during that month end period then automatically changes are charge in the debtors statement. If editing a script that was charged in a previous month, a credit for that amount will be issued and the new charge will be charged to the current month cycle.   Troubleshooting   If FredLink scripts are not autocharging.

  1. Check the patient is set in Fred to direct charge = Y.

  2. Check the patient has an account number in RxOne

Check Fred2POS.dat backup files if this doesn't solve the problem.
