Christmas Stock

It is unnecessary to make individual stock cards for gifts that will be a one off purchase (next year's Christmas gifts will be quite different).

Instead, it is better to simply make a few stock cards that cover gift categories or prices, as opposed to specific items. For example sunglasses could be divided into categories such as: Sunglasses $39.95, Sunglasses over $39.95, and Children's Sunglasses $9.95.

The supplier can be included on the stock card, so details of the sales of various types of stock will be available to work out the types to buy the following Christmas.

Items with barcodes could have the barcodes added to the stockcard for scanning at Pos, for easy selling.
