Adding a Customer

Adding/Modifying Customers in the RxOne Sales screen

Sales > New Sale > Edit > Add/Modify Person Details

From this screen you can add information to assist you in mailouts.

Inactive client - when flagged, this can be used in the Mailing Labels Utility to exclude these customers from the mailing list.

Receive promotional material - this flag will allow the mailing list to be limited to people that have given you permission to receive promotional materials.

Drivers licence -  if this is entered it will show on the OTC/Restricted Medication Report. To get to the Restricted or OTC Medicines Report, go to Reports, 'Sales Reports', 'Recorded Sales Report'.

Client Groups/Client Group Utility – this allows you to create and add a customer to a Client Group and then you can target your advertising material to these different groups.  e.g. you can create a Beauty Newsletter Group, Diabetes Group, Monthly Newsletter etc if the person only wants to receive promotional materials on beauty products or diabetic products.    

To assign a client group to the customer – select 'Add Client Group' and select the client group you want to add. Select <ok> to finish. If the client group is not on the list, use the 'Client Group Utility' to add a new client group.

To create a new client group - select 'Client Group Utility, 'Add Client Group'. In the blank line type in the name of the client group you want to create. Select <ok> to finish. You can now assign this client group to the customer.

Clubs – you can assign a customer to a club on this screen.

Customer Comment -  and also date of comment - you can use Report Generator to search for these
