To switch on, go to ‘Sales’, ‘View’, ‘Ezipay Training Mode’. To switch off, untick from this menu or exit out of POS and go back in.

Troubleshooting

If you get the message "Terminal Not enabled for processing"

  • Put the sale on Hold

  • Go to Edit\Ezipay Admin Panel

  • Click on 'Login'

  • If the message says IP Address incorrect then call Ezi-Pay and get them to reset the IP Address

If there is a problem with Ezi-Pay or you are not able to sell an Ezi-Pay card, go to the Ezi-Pay Admin Panel.

Main Menu > Sales > Ezi-Pay Admin Panel

You will see EITHER:

  • a single option - ‘Click here to Log On to the Recharge System’.

Click on this to manually logon, or if an error message comes up, take note of the error message. Depending on the error message, phone either Ezi-Pay (0800 960 000) or HealthSoft (09 300-7007).

OR

  • two options – ‘Click here to begin a Voucher transaction’ and ‘Click here to begin a Card transaction’.

If you see these two options, go to ‘Actions’, ‘Customer Transactions’ (Top LHS) and view the cards that Ezi-Pay has setup (ranged) for your shop to sell.

If the card you are looking for is not on this list, refresh the list by selecting Actions, Log On. If the card still does not appear on the list then call Ezi-Pay to “range” it, or check if it could have been “ranged’ under a different name eg. iTunes are ranged under INCOMM (the distributor).

Check Available Products

Another way to see what products you have available to sell, go to Tools, Utilities, Sales Utilities, eVoucher Utility. This list should match the list on the Ezi-Pay admin Panel.

If the list seems incorrect, open and close the Account Maintenance screen (from the RxOne Start Menu go to Sales, View, Ezi-Pay Admin Panel and select Actions, Log On). Doing this will automatically download a new list of Stockcards from Ezi-Pay and create the missing Stockcards for you.

If a card is on the Admin Panel but not Scanning

Check that the Stockcard has a barcode.

INCOMM-Based Cards - IMVU, Moshi Monsters and Apple iTunes

(Information from Ezipay – May 2011)

Ezi-Pay has been made aware of an issue with INCOMM Gift Cards and the DPS Eftpos system that is used in a number of pharmacies.

The issue is that INCOMM-based cards (IMVU, Moshi Monsters and Apple iTunes) do not work correctly with this device. This issue is isolated to these cards only.

To resolve this, Ezi-Pay will supply card readers to any pharmacy that requests them. The first card reader will be free of charge. Any additional units will cost 50c per week*.

Many pharmacies have Ezi-Pay installed on more than one point of sale computer (or ‘lane’). In this case, pharmacies may choose to have just one card reader installed in one PC. All Moshi Monsters and iTunes Gift Cards transactions will need to be processed on this lane and any Ezi-Pay cards processed on this lane will need to be done through the supplied card reader. The other lanes set up with Ezi-Pay in store (but with no card reader) can continue to use DPS for all swiping processes (Ezi-Pay and Eftpos) but will not be able to process the IMVU, Moshi Monsters and Apple iTunes cards.

All Eftpos and Credit Card transactions will still go through the DPS pinpad.

If you have DPS installed and you receive a swipe card reader from Ezi-Pay, please follow the simple instructions below:

  • Plug the supplied card reader into an available USB port on your PC.

  • Initiate a new sale as per normal

  • Enter Staff ID, as per normal

  • Using the supplied card reader, swipe the card you wish to issue or redeem and carry on as per normal

To order a card reader, phone Ezi-Pay on 0800 960 000 and have your six digit account (reference) number handy. This can be found on any Ezi-Pay invoice. Please specify the number of card readers you require and they will be sent via courier.

If this prompt isn't coming up. Go to stock card and check under stock information, Head Office tab and under ‘eVoucher Type’ check it’s got the right eVoucher type in the box e.g Unichem, Vodafone etc.

 Swipe Card Prompt not Showing

If the Swipe card doesn’t pop up:

  • Open the Stock Card

  • Stock Information in the Head Office tab

  • eVoucher Type - check that the correct eVoucher type in the box

 Message 'Declined 59...'

If the following error comes up: ‘Declined 59 – Terminal Num Error’. Please contact Ezi-Pay Helpdesk for Help.  The terminal has been locked by Ezi-Pay.
