Escaping a Sale (Abandon Sale) / Sale on Hold

To escape from a sale press <esc> a dialog box will appear with this message:

“You are about to leave this sale. Do you wish to put it ‘On Hold’?

• Yes - will put the sale on hold so you can continue with it later

• No - will cancel the sale

• Cancel - will take you back into the sale to continue

Sale on Hold

Common situations where you may wish to put a sale on hold include:

• the pharmacist is consulting with the patient and others may need to use the till

• the customer decides they want something else

• a selected payment method may only be available on another till

Continue a Sale on Hold

Highlight the Held sale by clicking on it with the mouse and press <Enter>
