Psychological Pricing
There is a one off charge for this feature which is available on request
Psychological pricing allows you to set price points. This is useful when using price updates from supplier files and other automatic price updates. Customers, on the most part, are used to seeing prices as $x.99 and psychological pricing can produce these results for you.

You will need an activation code provided by RxOne.
From the POS Settings tab in Options, click Psychological Pricing, tick the Psychological check box and enter the code given. RxOne will display the options for psychological pricing.

You can delete existing price points by selecting a price point and clicking delete.

You can check the rounding values by entering an amount and clicking Test Value
Repricing
Changes to psychological pricing will only take place when you update the prices on stock cards. There will be no change in retail price until that time. There are a number of ways to reprice stock cards:
Supplier Update
You can update items in a stock card using the supplier update module. This method uses the supplier files to check for changes in List Cost, and reprice items. Psychological pricing will take effect from this point, and new shelf labels or price stickers can be printed.
More information can be found here: Supplier Price File Update
Orders
You can update prices while receiving orders. Using this method means that you will only be repricing items as they arrive in store.
More information about repricing in the orders screen can be found here: (link to orders module)
Individual Stock Cards
You can change the price in individual stock cards. Psychological pricing will automatically change the price based on the rounding options you have set.
Bulk Stock Edit Utility
Prices can be changed in the Bulk Stock Edit Utility. This utility allows you to select products using a variety of filters. More information can be found here: (link to bse)
Preventing Repricing on Selected Stock Items
You can use the Bulk Stock Edit utility to prevent rounding on a range of stock items. In Bulk Stock Edit Utility, go to the Select Options Tab, select Rounding Type and select No Rounding.
