Technicians are advised to call the HealthSoft Help Desk before installing integrated Eftpos.

 

Provenco Eftpos not working    May give a message 'Error 3447' and cause the Slaves to slow down if an XP master is in operation.   

Check the pinpad;  If says Eftpos then check 'Eftpos enabled' in Options.

If so, reboot computer.

Check pinpad again.

If not enabled, call the help-desk and get them to help you run 'Jet SP 8' for that operating system.

 

Technician's notes

If  Error 3447 occurs soon after changing the Master to Windows XP, run the MS utility 'Jet SP8'.   This can be downloaded from the Microsoft web site and it might not be sp8. May be a later version.      

  1. Check the pinpad if says Eftpos then check Eftpos enabled in options

  1. if it is reboot computer.

  1. Check pinpad again. If not enabled run Jet SP 8 for that operating system

There is a file for each operating system. The last 2 letters of the name indicate what operating system 9x = 95,98,NT:ME = ME
