New Pack

When a new pack of an existing drug becomes available;

• If it is a replacement for the old pack, the old drug card is changed immediately. This means that repeats will automatically come off the new pack.

• If the new pack is an addition to the range, a new drug card is created and the old one left in existence. Repeats will come off the old pack.

 To make repeats come off the new pack;

• Dispense the repeat as usual, but when given the change to edit the repeat, bring up the new pack size of the drug.

 To change from old to new pack after repeating;

• Edit the repeat to point to the new card. Be careful not to edit the original unless you want that to point to the new card. Stock will be adjusted on both old and new cards, and all future repeats and 'copy/replicate' scripts will come off the new card.
